Historical Panorama

FORTRESS OF MANERBA DEL GARDA

The Rocca di Manerba is one of the best panoramic viewpoints of Lake Garda.

An intense emotion, where the eyes wander through the beauty of the lake’s waters and the reflection of the surrounding mountains. A site of great archaeological importance and a strategic point for dominating the lake from above, it is easily reachable with a short walk from our hotel.

As you ascend to the top of the Rocca, you will encounter medieval fortifications uncovered by recent excavations, along with the archaeological museum displaying numerous naturalistic finds and evidence of ancient settlements.

It is the first lake park in Italy, part of the Rocca and Sasso di Manerba del Garda Nature Reserve, covering a total area of 1,300,000 sqm.

Insular Charm

GARDA ISLAND

Garda Island is located on the Brescia side of Lake Garda, just a short distance from San Felice del Benaco. Its charm comes from the extraordinary Venetian Gothic-style villa, rich in stunning architectural details. At its foot, Italian-style terraces and gardens stretch down to the lake. Surrounding the island, the vegetation is lush and unspoiled, filled with local plants, exotic species, rare essences, and unique flowers.

Secret Island

ISLAND OF SAN BIAGIO

Geographically, San Biagio Island is separated from the mainland by a narrow strip of land covered by water, making its access particularly unique, as it can be comfortably reached on foot during the dry season. This feature has made San Biagio Island a popular tourist attraction, with a well-equipped campsite nearby. In the past, the island was also known as “Rabbit Island,” a name ominously linked to rumors suggesting the island was used as a testing ground for heavy artillery.

Incredible View

BETWEEN LIMONE AND TREMOSINE

Limone sul Garda’s dreamlike cycling and pedestrian path: Along the stunning walkways suspended over the water, this trail offers a spectacular view from a unique perspective. The route, open to both pedestrians and cyclists along Lake Garda, is about 4 km long and accessible to everyone.

The Strada della Forra is considered “the most beautiful road in the world.” Rising towards the green plateaus of Tremosine and crossing the gorge of a stream, it was also the setting for a breathtaking chase scene in a James Bond film.

A very scenic route, at the end of which you’ll find a typical restaurant with a terrace perched 300-400 meters above the lake, aptly named “the terrace of thrills.”

Panoramic Peaks

MONTE BALDO AND MALCESINE CABLEWAY

Lake Garda reflects the surrounding mountains, among which Monte Baldo stands out, reaching over 2,000 meters in height.

For those who want to experience the beauty of the mountains just steps away from the Garda beaches, we recommend an adventurous hike on Monte Baldo.

The summit is easily reachable via the Malcesine cable car, with its rotating cabins, offering breathtaking views.

A place where every moment is an invitation to discover, relax and experience authentic emotions.
